Bio-Fertilizer For Your Garden
Now that you have practiced your HomeBiogas system and created your self-made renewable energy, you can benefit even more from your system! HomeBiogas has an amazing by-product that utilizes all the nutrition from your organic waste to a rich liquid bio-fertilizer.
HomeBiogas liquid bio-fertilizer contains all the essential elements needed for a healthy plant growth in addition to organic materials and biostimulants. All in one product! And it’s 100% Eco-friendly self-made by you!! You can produce up to 45 Liters of free fertilizer per day just by applying the ecological cycle in your own backyard.
Packed full with macro and micro nutrients
The Macronutrients (N, P, K) and, Micronutrients (Fe, Cl, Mo, Mn, Cu, Co, Zn, B). together with the organic material and many organic acids, such as Humic acid, Amino acids, and more, are benefit the soil in a way much greater than industrial fertilizers
HOW TO USE BIO-FERTILIZER:
A typical application in agriculture is primary dressing—the spreading of fertilizers on the field before the planting or sowing of the crop itself. Having a supply of Bio-fertilizer is an excellent opportunity to utilize basic dressing.
When and How:
It is best to apply the Biofertilizer a month before sowing, allowing it to decompose in the ground for about 2-4 weeks. The basic dressing will enrich the soil with available nutrients ready to be taken up by the plant’s roots. This process is called “Mineralization.” For this “Mineralization to take place properly and fast enough, it is best if the soil is moist and carries good conditions for biological activity.
Depending on your specific liquid’s composition, apply between 1 to 3 liters of Bio-fertilizer for each meter cultivated.
The Biofertilizer can be used as a fertilizer during the ongoing season to increase yields and boost the crop. When applying a routine dose of fertilizers during the cultivation season, one can supply the crop with all of the necessary ingredients for growth and proper development, ensuring a healthy and rewarding season.
When and How:
Use 0.5 liters of the diluted solution for every meter cultivated per week! For a small home gardening, apply 2-3 times a week.
Since the Biofertilizer is so rich and concentrated, it usually has relatively high levels of salinity. This salinity should carefully handle when applied as a top dressing. We recommend diluting the Bioslurry before use! Dilution ratio for top dressing: 3 liters of water for every liter of Biofertilizer!
For Vegetables: up to 2.5 liters of fertilizer per square meter per wee.
For Shrubs and Trees: Up to 2 liters of fertilizer per tree per week.
Caution: Applying the fertilizer in higher amounts than recommended or without diluting it with water may cause soil salinization, damage plants, and upset the biological balance of the soil.
Tip for the Mix!
The liquid nutrients concentration variants and depends on the organic manure you feed the system. Try to use different food waste mix the food to make sure your fertilizer is rich as possible.
The production of homemade compost is not an easy task. Making good compost requires specific conditions and a few factors to be taken into account. Adequate moisture levels and a complex population of microorganisms are some of the crucial factors in the process. Using the Biofertilizer as a wetting agent is a wonderful solution in keeping the composting pile’s correct moisture. One of the greatest advantages of the Biofertilizer, in this case, is that it provides the compost not only with moisture but with rich nutrient content and a whole spectrum of microorganisms. The use of Biofertilizer in the making of homemade compost speeds up the process and boosts your end product!
When and How:
Instead of adding regular water to moisture the heat, occasionally add Biofertilizer liquid to the compost as a water source.
If due to environmental conditions, frequent wetting of the compost is needed, it’s recommended to dilute the biofertilizer in the same ratios given above (3 liters of water for every liter of Biofertilizer). Using a bucket or a watering can pour the diluted solution on the compost whenever needed to keep moisture levels at optimum condition.
If wetting the compost is needed in low frequency, there is no need to dilute the Biofertilizer. Use it as-is to provide the compost with the optimum moisture levels.
Tip for Composting!
Place your HomeBiogas system in the yard next to the home composter. Feed the system with raw materials rich in sugar and minerals such as cooked food and peels. On the other hand, feed the composter with substances that are not suitable for biogas, such as pruning (preferably crushed/chopped), chopped grass, and citrus peels. Then add the excess biofertilizer to the compost pile to speed up the composting process. In your garden, apply the compost at the beginning of the season and also, fertilize the flower beds with the recommended amounts of biogas fertilizer. Now Benefit from both worlds!
Soil preparation for the coming season
It frequently happens that not all of the plots on the farm are cultivated every season. This section of the guide refers to plots that are vacant for at least one season. A plot that is not in use for the season is a good way to use your resources. Applying a large amount of biofertilizer in a “resting” plot can benefit the soil, and if leached and appropriately washed, not harm it at all.
We recommend applying between 2 to 6 liters of biofertilizer per meter. A rainy season usually provides enough precipitation for leaching the undesired salts and getting the plot ready for cultivation. All of the remaining substances will benefit the soil and help the farmer achieve better yields and healthier crops.
