Microsoft has pledged to become a carbon negative, water positive, zero waste company by 2030 and to protect ecosystems by building a Planetary Computer for a sustainable future. Showcasing their work and highlighting the businesses and products that are bringing them one step closer to achieving their goals, Microsoft published the 2021 Environmental Sustainability Report. Two years into their ten-year journey, Microsoft’s President and Vice Chair, Brad Smith, and the company’s Chief Environmental Officer, Dr. Lucas Joppa, are confident that Microsoft will fulfill its sustainability commitments.
